License Plate Geography is a fun way to pass time on car trips and learn U.S. geography at the same time. Each time you see a license plate from a new state, simply touch that state on the game map provided. The state will change color, marking it as a state you have found on this trip. If you accidently highlight a state, simply press the state again to remove the highlighting.
The highlighted map makes it easy to see how many different license plates you have found. Play a game to see how many license plates from different states you can find while on a car trip. Can you create a path that connects across the country? Can you find them all?
License Plate Geography allows you to create and save multiple games. You can create a game to see how long it takes you to find all 50 state license plates. And you can create individual games for each car trip you take. You can create a game, end it at your convenience, and return at a later time to continue playing. Every game you play will automatically save each time you click on a state.
License Plate Geography lets you select the state directly on a Google Map. Since it is a Google Map, you are able to pan and zoom within the map. This can be lots of fun, but be careful not to get distracted from the game by the details of the map! Since License Plate Geography uses the maps from Google Maps, an active data connection is required. However, many of Google Map features are disabled for use in the game to minimize bandwidth use. The data connection is just used to get the map and support the zooming.
